Arbon Trust helps raise funds after successful sleepout

January 12, 2020

Over 100 agents and industry suppliers braved the wind and rain to take part in Centrepoint's Big Sleep Out on 21 November 2019 at the Olympic Park in London to raise money for homeless young people.

The Arbon Trust donated the entrance fee for participants and provided some additional funding as the Propertymark Great Agent Sleepout went on to raise over £66,573 for Centrepoint.

Participants had spent weeks raising money which would go on to provide accommodation and training for homeless people aged 16 to 25. The assembled group, which included fundraisers from other organisations such as Deutsche Bank, Aksia, Barratt London and Selfridges, were inspired by hearing real-life experiences shared by speakers before bedding down on the cold, rough ground.

It’s absolutely overwhelming to have this many people from our industry come together on a freezing cold night in November to raise money for such a fantastic cause! The money raised will provide vital safety and security to vulnerable young people in our country, so it’s been fantastic to have such a large turnout.
