Mr Craig Pearson MNAEA MARLA

A Disciplinary Tribunal of Propertymark Limited was convened on 25 May 2021 using the Zoom virtual conferencing platform to consider the case against Mr Craig Pearson MNAEA MARLA, Director at Saddlers Property Services Ltd t/a Parkers.

The panel members were Mr Richard Hair PPNAEA (Honoured) (member panellist acting as the Chairperson for the Tribunal), Mr David Coleman MARLA FNAEA (member panellist) and Mr Clive Wood (lay panellist). The presenting Case Officer for Propertymark was Ms Laura Hanley-Gorton and Mr Pearson was in attendance at the hearing.


The Tribunal considered the allegations set out in the case summary sent to Mr Pearson. It was alleged that Mr Pearson had acted in contravention of the requirements of the following Propertymark Conduct and Membership Rules.

  • Conduct rule 1: Accounting Rule (in particular)
    • Conduct rule 1.27: Submission of report
  • Conduct rule 21: Continuing professional development (CPD) rules


Mr Pearson admitted the charges against him:

  • Conduct rule 1.27: Admitted
  • Conduct rule 21: Admitted

Mr Pearson submitted a plea in mitigation.


  • Conduct rule 1.27: £600
  • Conduct rule 21: £400

In addition, costs were imposed of £193 against Mr Pearson in favour of Propertymark.

Closing statement

The Tribunal made the following statement:

'In our opinion the member has not given his professional responsibilities the same attention as to the running of his business. He has exposed both himself, his business and Propertymark to unnecessary risk.'
