Nicola is the Strategic Lead for estate agent business and letting agent business within Economic Crime Supervision in HMRC. She sets the strategic direction for the sectors, depending on emerging and current risks, intelligence and evidence from supervisory activity – through our external risk assessments. She has a long and varied compliance career within HMRC, and has been with Economic Crime Supervision since 2016.

Ollie is the senior policy and strategy advisor for estate agent business and letting agent business within Economic Crime Supervision in HMRC, and has been with Economic Crime Supervision since 2021. He worked for other government departments previously and had a legal career between 2014 – 2018. A lot of his role revolves around interpretation of the regulations, policy advice requests and improving and developing HMRC’s guidance.
