Dormant client account money
How often has a client left you with money in your client account which you cannot return because you don’t know where they are? Dormant client account money can be a burden and we understand that you need to have absolute confidence that you can refund the client’s money if later reclaimed. We have safeguards in place that guarantee we will be able to reimburse your donation should the need arise in future. We also offer an indemnity for all donations of this nature, irrespective of the amount.
Donating dormant client account money is a legitimate and safe way to ensure you comply with Propertymark’s Conduct and Membership Rules (clause 1.44) whilst supporting our work at the same time. Client account donations are an important part of our fundraising potential but remember, you must allow sufficient time to pass before doing so (usually six years). Leaving a legacy
Remembering us in a will allows us to continue our work in your memory and plan effectively for the future. If you are considering leaving a gift for Propertymark Arbon Trust in your will, we strongly recommend that you take independent legal and financial advice first. This will help you identify the best type of legacy, taking into account your circumstances as well as tax implications.
We respect that leaving a legacy can be a private matter but with your permission we would be proud to thank and acknowledge you for your gracious contribution to our future.
