Maxine Fothergill

President, ARLA Propertymark

Maxine is the Managing Director and Founder of Amax Estates based in Gravesend who have been successfully trading for over 20 years. Specialising in lettings, sales and block management, she is very proud of the achievements her firm has gained demonstrated by the 26 industry awards it has achieved.

Maxine originally started in the industry in 1988 and is a member of NAEA Propertymark and ARLA Propertymark, a Fellow of IRPM and a RICS Associate. She is also a trainer of landlords and agents and has successfully trained over 5000 delegates to date.

Grainne Gilmore


Along with the Research and Insight team at Zoopla, Gráinne produces market-leading property analysis and insights on all aspects of the sales and rental markets. Prior to joining Zoopla in 2020, she was an Economics, Business and Finance Journalist at The Times before becoming Head of UK Residential Research at Knight Frank.

Alex has a background in political campaigning and local government. He has extensive experience working with a wide range of stakeholders from across the political spectrum to develop new ways of thinking to reach key goals and objectives.

Paul is a pioneer of the customer service and experience world. His real-life examples and original content will have you fixed on how to take your customer service to a new level. 

Simon White

Welsh Assembly Government

Simon has held a wide variety of public service roles. In 1990 he joined the Department of Transport as a Scientific Officer and was seconded to EU’s Council of Ministers in Brussels. In 1994 he moved to Wales to work for West Wales TEC, initially as European Funding Manager, and later managed the merger of ELWa into the Welsh Government. After a secondment as CEO of One Voice Wales, the representative body for community and town councils, he joined Cadw as Change Programme Manager. Since October 2011 Simon has managed the Renting Homes legislation project and sees it as a strong example of how Wales is developing its own response to the housing challenges we face.

Clare Yates

Clare has worked in the property industry for nearly 30 years. Starting out as a part-time weekend receptionist, her career has taken her from estate agency to new-build sales, holiday cottages, panel management and B2B sales but she is most well-known as a training consultant.

Clare has worked with some of the largest estate agents and law firms in the country, helping them to generate more business, improve customer care, improve sales progression and cross-sell related services.

You will come away with new ideas or find out things you weren’t aware of beforehand either from listening to speakers, talking to other delegates or browsing exhibition stands.
