With estate agencies spanning England and Scotland, The Lomond Group has joined forces with Propertymark to deliver a ground-breaking training and development strategy.

The partnership will deliver a new online learning Level 3 qualification across the entirety of its network. This will cover both residential letting and property management, and the sale of residential property. It is designed to nurture the home-grown talent of the 1,000 people employed across all their high street brands.

Since forming less than 18 months ago, The Lomond Group has grown its combined portfolio of rental properties to over 35,000. It operates in major hubs in private rental hotspots including Aberdeen, Birmingham, Brighton, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Hull, Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, and York.

Property professional qualifications

The training will be supported by Propertymark Qualifications (PMQ), which offers specialist, regulated accreditations that are nationally recognised and tailored to support staff in advancing their careers. The latest figures from PMQ have revealed a 37 per cent rise in exams being taken throughout 2021 compared to 2020, showing an increased appetite for the sector to become qualified.
