It aims to create awareness of substance misuse and what you and the organisation can do if you feel you have a substance misuse problem.

Course objectives
  • Recognise the signs of substance misuse
  • Identify some tips for how to help yourself if you are, or think you are, misusing drugs or alcohol
  • Outline your responsibilities around alcohol and drug use in the workplace
  • Describe the negative impact alcohol and drug misuse can have on an organisation
  • Recognise work-related situations where your employer would intervene and how they might handle cases of substance misuse
