Independent Redress Schemes | Company Obligation

It is a legal requirement for estate agents and letting agents to belong to a government approved independent redress scheme. The role of an independent redress scheme is to provide fair and reasonable resolutions to disputes with members of the public.

All Principals, Partners and Directors looking to join must provide evidence of the independent redress scheme they belong to, that goes for auctioneers too. Firms that only provide valuations are exempt along with inventory providers looking to join ARLA Inventories.

You must join TPO as a member, registration is not sufficient
