Propertymark welcomes Belvoir into membership

From 1 March over 200 new members from across the Belvoir Group will become Propertymark Protected, enhancing their existing commitments to honesty, transparency, professionalism and going the extra mile for their clients. We are delighted that Belvoir recognises and values the growing consumer recognition of Propertymark Protection, which eligible members display in branches and on websites.

As major changes continue to sweep through our dynamic industry, we’re with our members every step of the way, providing support in tackling the challenges with credible news and guidance, resources, templates and toolkits. We continue to campaign on the issues that matter to agents, as well as influencing policy makers and gaining widespread media attention.

Belvoir operates a nationwide property franchise group, with 467 offices across six brands including Belvoir, Northwood, Newton Fallowell, Lovelle, Nicholas Humphreys and Mr and Mrs Clarke, as well as the Group’s financial services division, Brook Financial Services.

Individual and business benefits

Propertymark works closely with its members to set professional standards through regulation, accredited and recognised qualifications, an industry-leading training programme and mandatory Continuing Professional Development. The decision to join Propertymark means that Belvoir’s agents will now benefit from everything we offer to support their day-to-day work and progress in their careers.

As a business, Belvoir will get access to Propertymark member benefits, including cost effective and reputable Client Money Protection, preferential rates and services which aid our members in governance, risk management and compliance, and support for business growth through a range of savings.

We are excited to welcome the Belvoir Group into its new venture with us and look forward to working with their franchise partners to even further enhance their output and compliment their commitment to professional development in the marketplace.

Our members work to the highest standards possible, and we believe that those who are serious about professionalising the sector and offering the best to their clients should be regulated and qualified. This creates a level playing field but also sets agencies apart from many of their other competitors.

The Belvoir Group is delighted to be working with Propertymark from 1 March.

ARLA Propertymark - Propertymark’s lettings membership arm, is the leading membership body for letting agents, providing high standards of advice for agents and consumers alike.

All our franchisees will now be provided with in-house training to ensure that everyone achieves the Level 3 Award in residential letting and property management within the next two years if they do not already hold an equivalent qualification. The franchisees also have access to NAEA Propertymark, Propertymark’s estate agency membership arm under the new partnership.

The Belvoir Group has an incredibly robust compliance and auditing process, and this new relationship with Propertymark is a further example of how committed we are to improving standards.

We are very much looking forward to developing an open and communicative relationship with Propertymark that will ultimately benefit all our franchisees and their clients.
