Company Biography – Accord Sales & Lettings Accord Sales & Lettings is a proudly independent, family-run estate agency based in the London Borough of Havering. Established in 2008 by Amanda Carr, the business was born from a desire to improve the standard of service offered to landlords and tenants. As a landlord herself, Amanda had grown frustrated with the poor communication and lack of care she experienced – so she created Accord to be different: a letting agency built on honesty, professionalism, and genuine client care. In 2013, Accord expanded into residential sales in response to similar concerns from homeowners who had experienced poor service when selling. Amanda’s son, Jamie Carr, joined the company in 2014, bringing a background in building and property maintenance – experience that continues to benefit sellers and buyers needing practical, hands-on advice. Over the years, Accord has grown into a close-knit team of experienced professionals who share the same values: honesty, respect, integrity, and a passion for property. Collectively, the team has more than 100 years of agency experience and an unrivalled knowledge of the local area. Everyone at Accord is committed to giving straightforward advice, even when it’s not in our financial interest – because doing right by our clients is more important than a quick win.
