Efforts to collect and transport donations have been ongoing throughout the property industry and widely across the UK. Agents Giving has now launched a campaign to coordinate and focus efforts through Property United for Ukraine and the organisation has kicked off fundraising with a £10k donation.

Disasters Emergency Committee

The initiative which will channel donations to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) and British Red Cross has been created and supported by Agents Giving, Propertymark, Moneypenny, Agents Together, Boomin, Kerfuffle, Pygott & Crone, The Guild of Property Professionals and Fine & Country Foundation.

The Agents Giving website provides five ways to support those affected by the conflict. Primary among these is to donate to a reputable charity. Many Ukrainians have been left without access to a bank account, they need housing, food, and medical supplies while their prospects are unknown. Reputable charities are working on the ground to ensure that funds reach those that need them most.

A Just Giving fundraising page has been created enabling secure donations with the aim of agents and suppliers working together to raise as much money as possible.

Propertymark members have been galvanised by the unfolding humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. As a sector, we have a strong record of working in our own communities, fundraising and generating charitable giving. We are proud to support Agents Giving in uniting the sector behind Property United for Ukraine and it is inspiring to work with so many agents who are helping in whatever ways they can.
