The Propertymark Trust is the registered charity of Propertymark, set up to provide help and support to members, their families and employees.
The Trust's team captain, Megan Eighteen, proudly described her crew as “brave,” a fitting tribute to their tenacity on the water. A friendly rivalry set the tone, marked by shared tactics and even a bit of strategic boat-hopping.
High spirits, fierce competition
The teams each raced in three heats, with the fastest three times earning a spot in the final showdown. Both Propertymark teams improved steadily, with the Green Dragons making a splash by winning their final heat by a full boat length. Despite their valiant effort, they missed the finals by just 0.2 seconds, placing them in 4th overall, followed closely by the Propertymark Trust in 5th.
Thomas Morris triumphed once again, retaining their title with a stunning sub-one-minute sprint in the final—a truly standout performance.
But it wasn’t just about speed. The Green Dragons brought the volume, taking home the coveted Loudest Team Trophy and proving that Propertymark’s presence was impossible to miss.
Paddling with purpose
More than just a competition, the event was a celebration of community and giving. Over £2,500 was raised by the two Propertymark teams, contributing to Agents Giving’s fundraising support initiatives and the Magic Moments charity, which provides Disneyland Paris trips for children with life-limiting illnesses.
Event organiser Yvonne Martin described the day as 'absolutely brilliant. We were ecstatic that so many people turned up and we can’t thank everybody enough for all that they’ve done to support the event.'
With team strategy sessions already underway, Propertymark’s crews are eager to climb the rankings next year—perhaps even paddling their way into the finals.
The Propertymark Trust
The charitable arm of Propertymark is set up to help members, their families and our staff as well as supporting other charities through our fundraising activity. Run by Independent Trustees, the trust operates in confidentiality to provide support in two principle areas: qualification grants and financial assistance for members who have suffered from a physical or mental illness.
