Over 600 participants from across the legal sector came together at an InfoTrack Onboarding Summit on 23 February to hear how the pilot project on the electronic conveyancing forms – TA6, TA7, TA10 are being integrated into the software. The aim is to have transparency for the key stakeholders, with agents gathering ‘upfront’ information, allowing them, prospective buyers and vendors’ lawyers to have the same information at the same time.
This will also enable the selling solicitor to action the completed forms for non-compliance and to commence collating missing information to get the selling client-ready.
Accelerate client onboarding
Engaging potential conveyancing clients early by partnering with estate agents is a big opportunity for solicitors. Industry changes are going to increase the importance of this channel. Wilkinson presented the benefits of using one form that will capitalise on the business opportunity and improve the client experience.
As a result, The Law Society is keen to work with Propertymark to take this forward, and the National Trading Standards Estate and Lettings Agency Team (NTSELAT) disclosed their support too.
Sales Protocol Toolkit
Propertymark is at the forefront of working to speed up transactions to improve conveyancing with our successful Sales Protocol Toolkit, which includes a Property Information Questionnaire (PIQ).
We are already working with Hipla for quicker transactions, their distinctive platform combines our PIQ with The Law Society’s TA6, TA7 and TA10 forms. Removing the duplication between these forms by pre-populating data where possible transforms the process into an easy to use, consumer-friendly mobile platform.
Sales Protocol Toolkit
The toolkit offers huge potential to speed up transactions, reduce fall-through rates and comply with Consumer Protection Regulations.
Speeding up property transactions
Propertymark will continue to work closely with the UK Government, The Law Society and NTSELAT to progress the need for transparency and a cross-discipline process.
